Booking is easy and direct with your hosts, Carol and Henry.

- · This will automatically mark your dates as “Pending” so no-one else can pinch them!
- · We will get back to you as soon as we’re able, and definitely within 24hrs, to progress and complete your booking.

- For up to two people, we charge a flat fee of £120 per night with no minimum stay. If your stay is for four nights or more, we’re happy to offer nights four onwards at £105 per night.
- Extra guests (maximum of two) are charged at £25 per person for the first night, and £5 per night thereafter.
- If you would like to stay for longer than seven nights, please get in touch and we can see if we can juggle the numbers!
- Access to and full use of the accommodation, described on our website, for up to two people.
- Check in anytime to suit you, from 3pm onwards. Check out is 11am on the day of departure. We may be able to be flexible on this depending on other bookings. Just ask and we’ll see what we can sort out.
- Wi-Fi and private parking
- All linen and towels, including bath robes and slippers
- Nobody likes booking and cleaning fees, and we don’t either, so we simply don’t charge them! (Please see the caveat on our “FAQ’s” page should additional cleaning be required.)
- We’ll make sure there is tea, coffee, sugar and milk available for your arrival so you can brew up straight away!
- We want to balance being fair and transparent with making sure we protect ourselves from lost bookings made by “the indecisive” and “serial cancellers”!
- To secure your booking, a 25% non-refundable deposit is payable, via bank transfer, at the time of booking. We’ll send you bank details in reply to your booking request. Once your deposit has cleared, we’ll mark Hector’s House as “booked” on our website and, bingo, you’re in!
- We request that a £300 security deposit is paid on booking. Provided all goes to plan (please see our FAQ’s page for clarification), this will be refunded to you within three days of check out.
- The remaining 75% of the booking fee is due 14 days before the first night of your stay.
- We know that plans can change so should you need to cancel between 14 and 5 days before your stay, a refund of 50% of the total booking price, less your initial deposit, will be given. If you cancel within 5 days of the start of your booking, no refund will be issued.
- If you have paid your full accommodation fee before the 14 day deadline and need to cancel your booking with more than 14 days’ notice, you’ll receive a full refund, less your initial deposit.
