We’re very much in the early days of Hector’s House so are fan base is pretty small at the moment.
Here’s what our previous guests have said about their Hector’s House experience.

I stayed at Hector’s House when I was visiting friends in the area. I loved the aesthetic of the whole place which is very funky and as a lover of Mid-Century Modern furniture, I really liked the G Plan furniture and attention to detail.  The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen had all the utensils etc I needed which are often lacking in some rentals.  It was very clean and it was lovely to have Carol on hand for recommendations and local info.  She also made me a Pizza in her Pizza oven which was delicious.  Thank you Carol for being a perfect host.

What a brilliant find. Hector’s House is tucked away in a peaceful courtyard but perfectly placed for exploring Howden and beyond. The interior is stylish without feeling overdone, and anyone who appreciates mid-century design will love the furniture and attention to detail. It was immaculately clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need. Carol was the perfect host, friendly and knowledgeable. Come for the beautiful apartment, stay for Carol’s incredible pizza – an absolute treat that really made the stay stand out.

The perfect mix of mid-century style and modern comfort. We felt at home from the moment we arrived and can’t wait to come back. The space itself is beautifully designed, with thoughtful details throughout, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and a kitchen that has everything you need for a relaxed stay.
